We will achieve inexpensive metal separators for solid polymer fuel cells.
We have developed a conductive DLC film deposition device with the approval of NEDO, utilizing our unique plasma ion technology. Conductive DLC makes it possible to use general-purpose SUS materials for metal separators in fuel cells.
DLC coating has been achieved not only on steel, SUS, and cemented carbide, but also on ceramics, various rubbers, plastics, and other organic materials.
Utilizing plasma ion engineering, we provide functional DLC coatings for almost all materials. We have achieved DLC coatings on not only steel, SUS, and cemented carbide, but also on ceramics, various rubbers, plastics, and other organic materials. Our unique plasma ion injection and film formation technology allows for coating on submicron fine shapes, large equipment, inner surfaces of pipes, and deep grooves. Depending on the application, we propose customized specifications of DLC that meet customer needs, incorporating functions such as conductivity, low friction coefficient, barrier properties, release properties, and superlubricity, and we develop these in collaboration with our customers.
